PRIVACY POLICY
Effective October 22, 2026
This policy covers Unreal Estate (unr3al.estate), a game made by Milktooth Research LLC ("we", "us"). It explains what the game collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It adds game-specific detail to the Milktooth Research privacy policy, which covers all of our products; where the two differ, this policy applies to Unreal Estate.
Who we are

What we collect
When you sign in. You sign in with Google or LinkedIn. We receive your name, email address, profile photo and the account identifier that service uses for you. We never see your Google or LinkedIn password, and we do not get access to your contacts, posts or other data on those services.
When you play. The leagues you create or join, the homes you pick, your price predictions and scores, the homes you favorite, comments you post, and the nickname you choose.
Notification settings. The address we send game updates to (your sign-in email unless you change it) and which notifications you want. If you choose a text-message channel, the phone number you enter.
How you found us. If you arrive through a link that carries a tag such as
ref or utm_source (for example, from an ad or a shared result), we save that
tag and the page you landed on with your account, so we can tell which channels bring in players.
Technical information. Our servers and load balancer log each request, including your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. The game uses cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms against forgery. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics.
How we use it
- To run the game: sign you in, record picks, score predictions and show leaderboards.
- To send the game emails you have turned on, such as pick reminders, results and league digests. You can turn these off on your profile page.
- To keep the game secure and working, and to fix problems.
- To understand, in aggregate, which links and channels bring players to the game.
We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for targeted advertising, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Who can see it
Other players. Players in your leagues see your screen name, profile photo, picks, predictions, scores and comments. In the public open league your screen name is your nickname, or your first name and last initial if you have not set one. A result card you choose to share can be seen by anyone with its link. Other players never see your email address.
Service providers that process data for us under their own security and privacy terms:
- Amazon Web Services: hosting, database storage and backups, and sending email.
- Google and LinkedIn: signing you in.
- Content networks that serve parts of the game's pages to your browser: Google Fonts, the Tailwind CSS and unpkg (Leaflet) script hosts, and Esri ArcGIS map tiles. Like any website you load content from, they receive your IP address and browser information.
The law. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of our players or others.
If Unreal Estate or Milktooth Research LLC is ever sold or merged, player information may transfer to the new owner, who will remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. After you delete your account, it may remain in our backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security and troubleshooting.
Your choices
- Change your nickname and notification settings on your profile page.
- Email corp@milktoothres.com from your sign-in address to get a copy of your information, correct it, or delete your account. We respond within 30 days.
- You can also remove Unreal Estate's access from your Google or LinkedIn account settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information. Contact us and we will honor them as required by the law that applies to you.
Children
Unreal Estate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Security and location
The game runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to player data is limited. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information. Unreal Estate runs in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will also tell players by email or in the game.
